Inventor is a 3D modeling software from Autodesk having some of the best modeling capabilities for designing solid parts, sheet metal parts, surface parts, assembly and much more.
Here are couple of Tips to remember.
In this post, I am going I am going to cover how to get started with Inventor Part modeling.
Setting up your Project
Before we start creating a part, we need to set up a Project in Inventor. Inventor Project serves as a single workspace to manage all the design files without losing the connection or link between the files.
To create a New Project, Select the Projects Icon from Get Started Tab. You'll see a pop-up window as shown below.
Click New

Creating a Part
Once your Project is ready, now it's time to create New Part.
Click New, to get started with Part Creation.
Check out the below video on how to create a new part.
- Make sure all your sketch are fully constrained with Proper Dimensions and Geometrical Constraints
- Leverage the power of fx parameter. It makes your job easier.
- Explore the variety of solid modeling tools to work faster
